Location: Fresno, CA (open to residents in surrounding areas such as Merced, Madera, Fresno and Tulare)

Summary of principal responsibilities:

ArteVism Fellows for the Pan Valley Institute (PVI) are part of the Strengthening California’s Central Valley Youth of Color Leadership through the Intersection of the Arts and Civic Engagement project.

The two ArteVism Fellows will collaborate with PVI alumni and area youth of color in a series of actions such as educational campaigns, round tables, dialogues, theater, and art installations. In collaboration with the ArteVism Team, Fellows will offer youth of color opportunities for building awareness, reviving, and continuing the legacy of social movements in the Central Valley. The fellow’s work will enable immigrants and refugees to move one more step towards continuing to reshape the Central Valley’s political landscape and enhancing its cultural vitality.
