Who
We Are
Since 1998, Pan Valley Institute has worked to strengthen the leadership and civic voice of immigrants and refugees in California’s Central Valley. As a program of the American Friends Service Committee, we believe in the power of popular education, cultural expression, and community organizing to create lasting change.
Why
We Exist
The Central Valley is home to vibrant immigrant communities but also to deep social and economic inequalities. Our work responds to these challenges by investing in people—amplifying their stories, leadership, and cultural identity as tools for transformation.
