Dr. Gina Sandí Díaz is an Associate Professor of at Fresno State, where she teaches courses in the areas of Acting, Directing and Dramatic Theory. She also directs for the University Theatre. Her latest credits include The Sins of Sor Juana by Karen Zacarias, Sanctuary City by Martyna Mayok, and Men on Boats by Jaclyn Banhaus. 

Her creative and scholarly reseach focuses on Latine and Latin American Theatre, Performance Studies, and Applied Theatre. She is associated with the Latinx Theatre Commons, the American Theatre and Drama Society and the Association of Theatre in Higher Education.

In the Central Valley, Dr. Sandí Díaz co-created the ARTEVISM Fellowship with the Pan Valley Institute, where she continues to mentor fellows. She also serves in the board of The Fools Collaborative and is a reader and guest director of UR HERE Theatre.
