Anne Marie RIchard Ph.D.

Anne Marie is a passionate educator and lifelong learner who brings a creative spirit and constructive approach to her work and community engagement. With a deep commitment to equity, diversity, and belonging, she has devoted over 25 years to leadership, program design, research, teaching, and advocacy for underrepresented communities, across higher education, public agencies, and non-profit organizations. 

She earned her doctorate in Social and Cultural Studies in Education at the University of California, Berkeley, and has used her expertise to advance causes she deeply believes in.  A key part of Anne Marie’s work has been her long-standing involvement with the Pan Valley Institute, where she has served in various roles – volunteer, consultant, facilitator, Program Committee member, editor, and dedicated supporter – since its founding in 1998.

Driven by a desire to build trusted relationships and engage in transformational social change, Anne Marie finds fulfillment in work that aligns with her values and commitment to social justice.
