Johan Van der Noordaa is a retired physics lecturer from Fresno State and has been on the program committee of the Pan Valley Institute for about 20 years. He served for six years on the US board of Quaker Bolivia Link, which helps people in the Lake Titicaca region improve their water systems. During the last four years at California State University, Fresno, he was the treasurer of the local affiliate of the California Faculty Association (labor union).
